ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
- Be knowledgeable about the product
- Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
- Answer questions about the products
- Negotiate prices and terms
- Collaborate with colleagues in different sectors
- Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
- Review customers credit status and collect monies owed.
- Complete Administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:·
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years of industry related sales experience within the distribution or supplier community.
- Must provide own transportation, valid Driver’s License and current insurance
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
- Must possess strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills and social perceptiveness.
- Ability to work in a team environment and to manage multiple tasks.
- Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and electronic mail proficiency.
- Goal oriented, focused, and possess the ability to excel with minimal supervision.
- Self-Motivated to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
